Isak ruled out for Sunday's City clash with thigh injury; Gakpo and Jacquet also sidelined but expected back soon.

Liverpool face Manchester City at Anfield on Sunday but will be without several key players. Alexander Isak has been ruled out with a thigh injury sustained on international duty with Sweden and is not expected back until the Brentford away fixture on October 17. Manager Andoni Iraola confirmed the injuries are not long-term but the players will not be available for the City match. Liverpool enter the fixture on the back of an important victory over Bournemouth before the international break.
