Championship clubs monitoring Cheltenham midfielder McCann, 24, after seven goals in nine League Two games; Robins reluctant to sell.

Cheltenham Town midfielder Charlie McCann is attracting interest from Championship and League One clubs following an impressive run of form. The 24-year-old has scored seven goals in nine League Two matches from midfield, earning him League Two Player of the Month for September. McCann, a former Manchester United and Rangers academy player, is viewed as ready for a step up the pyramid. However, Cheltenham are understood to be unwilling to sell, viewing him as central to their promotion push after a strong start to the season. McCann joined the club in June on undisclosed terms.
