McCann's form down to maturity says Cotterill

Cheltenham manager Cotterill credits McCann's seven goals in nine League Two games this season to his increased maturity and professionalism.

Cheltenham Town manager Steve Cotterill has praised Charlie McCann's stellar start to the season, attributing his seven goals in nine games and League Two Player of the Month award for September to his improved maturity. Cotterill, who previously managed McCann at Forest Green Rovers two years ago, says the 24-year-old has become more responsible and professional both on and off the pitch since their last working relationship. McCann joined Cheltenham this summer on a nominal fee after a spell at Barrow.
