Man United could be set for transfer windfall as Real Madrid and Premier League clubs eye £25m man

McTominay faces uncertain future at Napoli amid contract stand-off; Real Madrid and Premier League clubs monitoring situation.

Scott McTominay, who joined Napoli from Manchester United for £25.9m in summer 2024, is now the subject of transfer speculation. The Scotland midfielder is locked in a contract dispute with the Italian club, raising the possibility of a January departure. Real Madrid have made enquiries about his availability, with further Premier League interest expected. Napoli prefer to delay any sale until summer, but McTominay's contract impasse could force their hand when the window reopens.
