Arsenal given major injury scare as star carried off during warm down after Leeds win

Hincapie suffered a right ankle injury during warm-down drills after Arsenal's win over Leeds and is now a doubt for Tuesday's Champions League match against Lille.

Arsenal defender Piero Hincapie was carried off during post-match warm-down exercises at the Emirates Stadium after clutching his right ankle. The 24-year-old Ecuador international had come on as a substitute in the 82nd minute of Arsenal's comeback victory over Leeds. He is now a doubt for Tuesday's Champions League clash with Lille. Hincapie has made only three Premier League appearances this season, all as a substitute, and had not featured since Arsenal's win over Chelsea on September 6.
