Álvarez parts ways with long-time agent Hidalgo after failed Barcelona move; Arsenal monitoring situation ahead of January window.

Julián Álvarez has ended his representation with agent Fernando Hidalgo following his unsuccessful attempt to leave Atlético Madrid for Barcelona over the summer. The split came after disagreements over how Hidalgo handled the Barcelona negotiations, with reports suggesting the player felt misled about Atlético's willingness to sell. Argentine and Spanish media indicate the change could facilitate a transfer in January, with Arsenal among the clubs tracking his availability.
