Liverpool latest: Alex Scott price tag emerges and deal 'sets up' Trent Alexander-Arnold return

Liverpool could move for Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott in January if they meet Bournemouth's £100m asking price; Scott was a summer target.

Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola is plotting a January transfer window reset after a poor start to the season. Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott, 23, was a summer target for Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United, but the Cherries resisted all approaches. However, Bournemouth have now softened their stance and would consider selling Scott for £100m. Iraola managed Scott at Bournemouth, where the England star made 89 appearances. The article also hints at a potential reunion with Trent Alexander-Arnold, though details remain unclear.
