The problems go far deeper than the manager

Watford fans call for ownership change rather than managerial overhaul as Dionisi stays in charge despite four straight defeats.

Watford have confirmed head coach Alessio Dionisi will remain in charge for Saturday's home match against Charlton in the Championship, despite the club slipping into the relegation zone following four consecutive defeats. The club asked supporters for their views on the crisis, and the overwhelming sentiment among fans is that the problems run deeper than the manager. Multiple supporters criticised owner Gino Pozzo and chairman Scott Duxbury, calling for new ownership and investment rather than another managerial change. Fans cited the club's reliance on loans and Udinese signings, and argued that players know they can underperform without consequence because managers bear the blame.
