Harry Kane told 'no brainer' contract decision as Ballon d'Or favourite given Alan Shearer record reminder

Kane signs three-year Bayern contract extension through summer 2029, ending speculation about a Premier League return.

Harry Kane has agreed a new three-year deal with Bayern Munich that will keep him at the club until summer 2029, according to talkSPORT. The England captain was set to become a free agent at the end of the season, prompting talk of a return to the Premier League and a potential attempt to break Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League goalscoring record of 260. Kane will be 36 when the contract expires. talkSPORT's Alex Crook has backed the decision, citing Kane's success in Germany where he has scored 154 goals and won back-to-back Bundesliga titles.
