Harrogate boss Weaver becomes co-owner

Manager Simon Weaver becomes co-owner alongside local businessman Jonathan Bleazard, taking over from his father Irving.

Simon Weaver, Harrogate Town's manager since 2009, has become co-owner of the National League club alongside local businessman Jonathan Bleazard. The move ends his father Irving's ownership, which began in 2011. Under their combined stewardship, Harrogate achieved promotion to the Football League for the first time in 2020, though they were relegated back to the National League last season. Weaver confirmed his managerial role and responsibilities remain unchanged.
