Sources: 'Surprise' update on Liverpool signing Alex Scott in January

Sources suggest a January move would be a surprise despite Liverpool's interest in Bournemouth midfielder Scott.

Liverpool are among several Premier League clubs tracking Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott, but sources indicate a move in January would be unexpected. Scott's former manager Andoni Iraola now leads Liverpool, and the Reds have well-documented midfield needs. However, Bournemouth have placed a large asking price on the England midfielder, and it would take a significantly high offer to tempt them into a sale this month.
