Alexander Isak explains key to lethal Liverpool finish and what left him 'screaming' from the bench

Isak scored the winner as Liverpool came from behind to beat 10-man Brentford 2-1, with the striker explaining his patience paid off after a quiet first hour.

Alexander Isak secured Liverpool's 2-1 victory at Brentford on Saturday with a 70th-minute winner, his fifth goal of the season. The Reds trailed 1-0 after Keane Lewis-Potter's first-half header before Brentford's Yehor Yarmoliuk was sent off for headbutting Jeremy Jacquet. Victor Munoz equalised after the break, but Isak pounced on Bradley Barcola's knock-down to seal the win. The £125m striker said he had to be patient for his chance, knowing Brentford would tighten their defence after going down to 10 men.
