What awaits Everton hero Ferguson in shock Glens role?
Summarised by MatchPal
Duncan Ferguson, former Everton striker, is expected to be appointed Glentoran manager on Monday after the Irish Premiership club's five-week search.
Glentoran are set to confirm Duncan Ferguson as their new manager on Monday, ending a five-week search that began when Declan Devine departed in September. The east Belfast club initially pursued Tiernan Lynch and Jim Magilton before turning to the Everton legend, who also played for Rangers and Newcastle. Ferguson's appointment is being compared to the boost Damian Duff brought to the League of Ireland with Shelbourne, with the club hoping his star power will energise the Irish Premiership.
