Sergio Ramos, next candidate to sign for Getafe

Getafe president confirms talks with Sergio Ramos's representatives, but signing is not a priority with six centre-backs already in the squad.

Getafe president Ángel Torres confirmed Sunday that the club has held conversations with Sergio Ramos's brother and agent René Ramos about a possible move for the former Real Madrid defender. Torres said Getafe would be willing to sign Ramos if the opportunity arose, but stressed that central defence is not a current priority given the squad already has six centre-backs. The club's focus is on reinforcing the wings under manager José Bordalás, though Torres did not rule out revisiting the move in the January transfer window.
