Gasperini's 300 joys: Roma's streak continues

Gasperini reached 300 Serie A wins as Roma beat Genoa, becoming only the fifth manager to achieve the milestone.

Gian Piero Gasperini celebrated his 300th Serie A victory as Roma defeated Genoa, a poignant full-circle moment given his first top-flight win came with Genoa in 2007. The Grigliasco-born coach is now only the fifth manager in Italian football history to reach this landmark, after Trapattoni (352), Allegri (325), Spalletti (306), and Rocco (302). Gasperini has accumulated 1,054 points across 644 Serie A matches, averaging 1.64 per game, but his record with Roma stands significantly higher at 1.86 points per match.
