Liverpool ready to ruin Madrid and Barca transfer plans – Reds willing to pay €50m

Liverpool, Barcelona and Real Madrid are competing to sign Werder Bremen centre-back Finn Jeltsch, with clubs willing to pay €50m for the 20-year-old German international.

Werder Bremen's Finn Jeltsch has attracted interest from multiple top European clubs. Liverpool, Barcelona and Real Madrid are all chasing the 20-year-old centre-back, who has impressed with 60 appearances for the Bundesliga side since joining from Nuremberg in February 2025. Barcelona manager Hansi Flick is personally leading the pursuit, leveraging his knowledge of the German market. Clubs are reportedly willing to pay €50m for the defender, up from an initial €35m valuation earlier in the season.
