Team of the Week: no top-three players, Friesland well represented

VI's Team of the Week features no players from the top three, with Friesland clubs SC Heerenveen and SC Cambuur providing four selections.

VI has announced its Team of the Week, notably excluding players from Feyenoord, AZ, and PSV despite their weekend fixtures. Ajax contributed one player following their goal-heavy victory over FC Groningen. Friesland-based clubs dominated the selection with four players: two from SC Heerenveen and two from SC Cambuur. The team includes Sergio Padt (FC Utrecht) in goal, a five-player defence, three midfielders led by PEC Zwolle's Thijs Oosting (Player of the Week with two goals), and three forwards.
