Barron gets fresh start at ADO after Ajax conflict

The 18-year-old forward joins ADO Den Haag on a free transfer after leaving Ajax following a social media controversy.

Eternal Barron has signed with ADO Den Haag until mid-2027 on a free transfer from Ajax. The 18-year-old attacker departed Ajax after causing controversy in April when he claimed on a TikTok livestream to be better than Ajax defenders Lucas Rosa and Owen Wijndal. ADO's youth academy head Maurice Hagebeuk, who previously worked with Barron at the KNVB, said the club believes in his potential and will provide proper guidance to help him develop both on and off the pitch.
