Scott McTominay floated transfer alternative to seal 'fascinating' Man United reunion

Real Madrid have made enquiries about Napoli midfielder McTominay, who joined from United for £25.9m last summer.

Scott McTominay has attracted interest from Real Madrid following an impressive first season at Napoli, where he won the Serie A title after joining from Manchester United for £25.9 million in summer 2024. Italian reports claim the Spanish club have made enquiries about the Scotland international's availability. Former United forward Louis Saha has suggested McTominay could thrive at the Bernabéu alongside Jude Bellingham, noting the midfielder's potential was not fully maximised during his time at Old Trafford.
