Sources: Man United turn attention to Wesley ahead of January

Manchester United are monitoring Roma right-back Wesley ahead of January; Arsenal and Newcastle also interested in the versatile 23-year-old Brazilian.

Manchester United are keeping tabs on Roma right-back Wesley ahead of the January transfer window, sources have told Football Insider. The 23-year-old Brazil international, who can play as a wing-back or full-back on either flank, is also attracting interest from Arsenal and Newcastle. United value Wesley's versatility as they seek reinforcements in both full-back positions, having failed to secure a long-term successor to Luke Shaw in the summer. Any deal would be expensive, with Wesley under contract at Roma.
