Loaned Slovenian defender Drkusic says he is fully recovered and ready to help Espanyol turn around their winless run ahead of Racing Santander.

Vanja Drkusic, on loan from Zenit until the end of the season, delivered his best performance for RCD Espanyol in their 0-1 defeat to Atlético Madrid. The 26-year-old centre-back told club media he is completely recovered from fitness issues and has settled well with his teammates and family in Barcelona. Despite the loss and Espanyol's inability to win since 12 September, Drkusic emphasized the squad's positive attitude and readiness ahead of Saturday's trip to Racing Santander.
