Manchester United dealt major injury blows as Michael Carrick issues six-man update

Manchester United face Como without Martinez (thigh), Shaw (10+ days), Mainoo (10 days), Rashford (hip issue), Heaven (illness), and Dorgu (hamstring).

Manchester United manager Michael Carrick confirmed a significant injury list ahead of Wednesday's Champions League trip to Como. Lisandro Martinez was substituted at half-time against Leeds with a thigh problem and won't travel. Luke Shaw requires longer than 10 days to recover, Kobbie Mainoo is expected back in around 10 days, Marcus Rashford is managing a hip issue, Ayden Heaven is ill, and Patrick Dorgu is sidelined with a hamstring injury. Academy graduate Harry Amass has travelled with the squad and is in contention to feature at left-back.
