Atalanta too soon for Blind and Berghuis at Ajax; Sparta possible

Blind and Berghuis returned to group training Wednesday but won't face Atalanta; possible return against Sparta Rotterdam on Sunday.

Daley Blind and Steven Berghuis resumed group training at Ajax on Wednesday, a positive step in their recovery. However, manager Míchel confirmed they remain unavailable for Thursday's Conference League match against Atalanta, as they have not yet reached the final phase of their return. The pair could feature in Sunday's Eredivisie clash with Sparta Rotterdam, though Míchel cautioned that availability depends on their progress over the next few days. Ajax also remain without Caio Henrique, Anton Gaaei, Simon Adingra and Kasper Dolberg.
