Míchel reveals Ajax's plans for Zinchenko

Zinchenko has returned to Ajax training as he recovers from a serious knee injury; manager Míchel says no contract decision has been made yet.

Oleksandr Zinchenko returned to Ajax training this week to continue his recovery from a serious knee injury sustained while at the club. Manager Míchel confirmed the club invited the left-back to train with the squad and praised his character and importance to last season's team. While Zinchenko's contract expired last summer and he is currently without a club, Míchel said no decision on a future deal has been made, though Ajax is providing full support for his rehabilitation.
