Real Jaén heavily affected by absences

Real Jaén face defensive crisis with Jaume Pol, Cristian and top scorer Marco Siverio sidelined; Álex Pérez returns to training.

Real Jaén manager Manolo Herrero is dealing with significant injury absences ahead of their league match against Atlético Madrileño. Central defender Jaume Pol has a minor calf muscle tear, Cristian remains unavailable with ongoing physical issues, and top scorer Marco Siverio is out with a hamstring injury and biceps femoris discomfort. The positive news is that Álex Pérez has returned to group training and will be available for selection, though he is not yet fully fit and unlikely to play the full 90 minutes. Herrero must reorganise his defence to cope with the absences.
