Steven Pressley confesses he came close to quitting Dundee 'several' times last season

Pressley reveals he nearly quit Dundee multiple times in his first season but was supported by technical director Gordon Strachan.

Steven Pressley has disclosed that he came close to walking away from his role as Dundee manager on several occasions during his first season back in the dugout after five years at Brentford. The manager struggled to readjust to the pressures of frontline football management after spending time in a backroom role. Pressley credits his relationship with technical director Gordon Strachan with helping him through the difficult period. Despite the early challenges, Dundee have made an impressive start to the season and currently sit fourth in the Scottish Premiership.
