NEC travel to Zagreb with confidence: 'Looking back doesn't make much sense'

NEC travel to Dinamo Zagreb in the Europa League seeking their first win in eight matches, with manager Schreuder confident despite Zagreb's stronger squad on paper.

NEC manager Dick Schreuder addressed the media ahead of Thursday's Europa League trip to Dinamo Zagreb, dismissing suggestions his side is in crisis despite eight matches without a win. Schreuder highlighted growth in recent performances, noting NEC drew their last four games against Go Ahead Eagles, Ajax, Levski Sofia and Fortuna Sittard, with chances to win in each. He acknowledged Zagreb are a strong, well-organised side with dynamic midfield play, but insisted that quality on paper doesn't always translate on the pitch. NEC travelled with 19 players, missing Emre Mor due to a minor setback.
