Croatian media sceptical of NEC, but lyrical about Nejasmic

Croatian media praised Nejasmic's display in NEC's 4-2 Europa League win at Dinamo Zagreb, with some suggesting he merits a national team call-up.

NEC secured a historic 4-2 victory away at Dinamo Zagreb in the Europa League, but Croatian media were largely unimpressed with the Dutch side's overall performance. The standout performer was NEC midfielder Darko Nejasmic, whose display in his home country drew widespread praise from Croatian outlets. Nova TV suggested his performance was a strong case for Croatia coach Slaven Bilic to consider him for the national team, highlighting his crucial role in NEC's attacking system under Dick Schreuder.
