What's happened to Igor Thiago?

Igor Thiago has scored just once in seven Premier League games this season after netting 22 last year; Brentford face Hull on Sunday.

Igor Thiago's form has dipped sharply in 2026/27 after a prolific 2025/26 campaign where he scored 22 Premier League goals — a record for a Brazilian in a single season. Seven games into the current season, the Brentford striker has managed only one goal and one assist, raising questions about whether the striker can recapture his previous heights. Brentford travel to Hull City on Sunday as they look to turn around their season.
