"Zero, none" – West Ham player's January transfer links dismissed

Chivas de Guadalajara have dismissed reports linking them with West Ham midfielder Edson Álvarez in January.

Reports emerged suggesting Chivas de Guadalajara could offer Edson Álvarez an escape from West Ham in the January transfer window. However, journalist José María Garrido has dismissed the speculation, stating the Mexican club has no intention of signing the midfielder. Álvarez has struggled for playing time at West Ham this season under Nuno Espírito Santo, making just one appearance in the EFL Cup.
