Liverpool make approach for 'indispensable' player – Reds contact Bundesliga star's agent

Liverpool have contacted Felix Nmecha's agent as they consider the Borussia Dortmund midfielder, though he is not their primary target.

Liverpool have made an approach for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha by contacting his agent, according to Sky Deutschland. The 26-year-old German international has developed into a key player at Signal Iduna Park, making 123 appearances with 15 goals and eight assists. Dortmund previously valued him at €100-120m when Newcastle showed interest last summer, but no deal materialised. Liverpool view Nmecha as a secondary option behind AS Monaco's Lamine Camara and AFC Bournemouth's Alex Scott in their midfield search.
