Gattuso: "If we lower intensity, Parma will be tough"

Gattuso warns Lazio must maintain intensity against Parma on Saturday or risk defeat; praises squad's attitude after midweek session.

Ahead of Saturday's Serie A clash with Parma at the Olimpico (20:45 CET), Lazio manager Gennaro Gattuso stressed the importance of sustaining the intensity and desire shown in last week's win over Juventus. "If we lower our intensity, it will be tough," Gattuso said. "If we think we can manage the game, we'll take a beating we'll remember for a long time." The league leaders sit top of the table and can extend their lead with victory. Gattuso also expressed pride in how his players conduct themselves in the dressing room, though he admitted he rarely celebrates, always thinking ahead to the next challenge.
