Allegri: two-match ban. Will he miss Juventus? Club weighs appeal
Summarised by MatchPal
Allegri banned for two matches for disrespectful conduct toward referees in Saturday's Roma game; will miss Monza and Juventus fixtures unless Napoli's appeal succeeds.
Napoli manager Massimiliano Allegri has been handed a two-match suspension by Serie A's disciplinary judge for "disrespectful expressions towards match officials" during Saturday's 3-3 draw with Roma. He must also pay a €10,000 fine.
Allegri will miss Napoli's midweek trip to Monza on 28 October and the visit to Juventus on 1 November. His return to the bench is scheduled for 8 November against Lazio, unless the club successfully appeals the ban. Napoli is currently evaluating whether to lodge a formal appeal.
