Luca Zidane, the big loser

Luca Zidane has lost his starting spot at Leganés after new manager Luis Carrión recalled veteran Raúl Fernández to the lineup.

Luca Zidane began the season as backup to Raúl Fernández at Leganés, but seized his opportunity when the veteran goalkeeper was sent off. The 28-year-old established himself as the club's first-choice keeper under De la Barrera.

However, the arrival of Luis Carrión as manager has reversed Zidane's fortunes. The new coach has opted for Fernández's experience, restoring him to the starting eleven for the upcoming match against Mallorca. Zidane now finds himself back on the bench, waiting for another chance to regain the manager's confidence.
