Roma attentive to Balde for January

Roma monitoring Barcelona left-back Balde, who has fallen down the pecking order under Hansi Flick this season.

Alejandro Balde has struggled for playing time at Barcelona under manager Hansi Flick this season, featuring for just 12 minutes in a La Liga match against Racing and 16 minutes in a Champions League game against PSG. His reduced role has attracted attention from several clubs, with AS Roma now reportedly considering a move for the left-back in the January transfer window. Roma are looking to strengthen their squad in the winter market and see Balde as a potential target if his situation at Barcelona doesn't improve.
