Cala: "When we score, we should go for more"

Espanyol midfielder Cala criticises his side's defensive approach after scoring, saying they should push for more goals rather than retreat.

Espanyol playmaker Cala has expressed frustration with his team's tactical approach following their 1-0 away win at El Sardinero. After opening the scoring, Espanyol adopted a more defensive posture rather than continuing to press for additional goals. Cala acknowledged the disconnect between the manager's tactical instructions and what is being executed on the pitch, admitting: "We're finding it hard to link the manager's idea with what's reflected on the field." The midfielder believes the team should maintain attacking intent after taking the lead instead of sitting deep.
