Bayern's Uli Hoeneß: "Florian Wirtz would play much better for Bayern than he does at Liverpool"

Bayern president Hoeneß suggests Wirtz is underutilized at Liverpool and would thrive at Bayern instead.

Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeneß has publicly criticized Liverpool's use of Florian Wirtz, suggesting the winger would perform better at Bayern. Speaking to Welt am Sonntag, Hoeneß said he watches Wirtz regularly and believes Liverpool has failed to integrate him properly into their system. Hoeneß contrasted Wirtz's role at Bayer Leverkusen, where he received the ball frequently and was central to the team's play, with his current situation at Liverpool where he is "just one among many." The comments represent a clear attempt to court the player, with Hoeneß implying Bayern could provide a better platform for Wirtz to showcase his talents.
