Blow for Barça Atlètic: Shane Kluivert out two months with hamstring injury

The 19-year-old winger will miss two months with a left hamstring injury, sidelining him through early 2027.

Shane Kluivert has been ruled out for two months with a left hamstring injury, Barcelona Atlètic announced on Sunday. The 19-year-old Dutch winger will miss upcoming fixtures including Sunday's match against Olot and subsequent Segunda RFEF games against Arnedo, Manresa, Girona B, Espanyol B, Terrassa, Ebro, Reus Reddis and Calamocha.

Kluivert has made six appearances for Barcelona's B team this season, scoring twice and providing one assist. He featured in pre-season friendlies for the senior side under Hansi Flick, playing 45 minutes against Birmingham City and nine minutes against Udinese.
