Aleksandar Pavlović to miss Freiburg clash through injury

Bayern Munich midfielder Aleksandar Pavlović will miss the Matchday 7 trip to Freiburg after sustaining a calf problem in training midweek. The 22-year-old Germany international had started all six of Bayern's Bundesliga matches this season before the injury.

Pavlović joins Manuel Neuer, Luis Díaz and Jamal Musiala on Bayern's growing injury list. His absence complicates matters for assistant head coach Aaron Danks, who will take charge in Vincent Kompany's medical absence, as Pavlović forms a key midfield partnership with Joshua Kimmich—who is unavailable due to a family bereavement.
