Wilshere has full belief in his Luton players

Wilshere praised his players' fighting spirit after Callum Marshall's stoppage-time winner secured back-to-back league victories.

Luton Town secured a 2-1 victory over Leicester City on Saturday, with Callum Marshall scoring the decisive goal four minutes into second-half stoppage time. The win delivered back-to-back league victories for Jack Wilshere's side for the first time this season.

Wilshere, in his second season as Luton manager, expressed his belief in his players' character. "What the players have got, I keep saying it, I truly believe in them and their fighting spirit," he told BBC Three Counties Radio. He highlighted the importance of the team's response after Leicester went down to ten men and scored in the 88th minute, saying the players had to decide whether to retreat or step up — and they chose to fight back.

Luton currently sit 10th in League One and have now won three times in their last four matches, bouncing back from a sluggish start to the season that included a 5-2 loss at Mansfield in late August.
