Neville's outburst at United players' unprofessional habits

Neville criticised United players for unprofessional habits, saying some don't sleep properly or eat correctly, after the 0-3 home loss to Bournemouth.

Gary Neville, the former Manchester United captain and Sky Sports pundit, launched a scathing attack on the club's players during his podcast, accusing them of lacking professionalism. Speaking after United's 3-0 defeat at home to Bournemouth on Sunday, Neville said: "Some of them aren't very professional. There are some who don't go to bed at the right time, don't eat correctly, don't think about Manchester United every minute of every day."

Neville defended manager Michael Carrick, saying the blame cannot fall solely on the coach, and praised his integrity and professionalism. However, he predicted Carrick will ultimately be sacked due to the circumstances. Neville also suggested the situation has become untenable, noting that midfielder Bruno Fernandes has publicly turned against the manager following the 4-1 Champions League loss to Como, and questioning what tensions exist behind the scenes.

United remain in crisis, winless in eight matches and just one point above the relegation zone.
