Harry Kane Premier League transfer prediction made after England captain wins Ballon d'Or

Kane won the Ballon d'Or on Monday and is set to sign a new three-year Bayern deal through 2029, though pundits debate whether he might return to the Premier League before retirement.

Harry Kane won the Ballon d'Or on Monday night, becoming the fifth English winner of the award after Sir Stanley Matthews, Sir Bobby Charlton, Kevin Keegan and Michael Owen. The 33-year-old totalled 68 goals and assists for Bayern Munich last season and added seven contributions as England captain at the 2026 World Cup, also winning the Gerd Müller Trophy.

According to talkSPORT, Kane is set to sign a new three-year contract at Bayern that will keep him at the club until 2029. However, speculation persists about a potential Premier League return before his career ends. Kane scored all 213 of his Premier League goals for Tottenham and remains second on the all-time scoring list behind Alan Shearer's 260.

Tim Sherwood, Kane's former Spurs manager, suggested a return is likely but only to a club capable of winning trophies, narrowing options to Liverpool, Manchester United or Tottenham. Ally McCoist disagreed, saying Kane appears happy at Bayern and could finish his career there.
