Allegri: "I won't appeal or I'll get four games." On Gasperini and the Roma comments...

Allegri will not appeal his two-game ban from the Roma match, saying he'd rather accept it than risk four games; he also dismissed Gasperini's reported comments.

Napoli manager Massimiliano Allegri addressed his two-game suspension following the 3-3 draw with Roma in a pre-match press conference ahead of Wednesday's Serie A fixture against Monza. Allegri confirmed he has decided not to appeal the ban, stating that doing so could result in a harsher four-game suspension. He expressed disappointment at missing the Monza match and the subsequent Juventus game, noting that he enjoys being on the sidelines, but expressed confidence in his coaching staff to manage without him. Regarding comments attributed to Roma manager Gasperini, Allegri said he had not heard them directly and suggested the reported quotes may be inaccurate. He called for the matter to be closed, emphasizing that neither the suspension nor the Roma result can be changed, and urged focus on climbing the league table.
