Man United hero shows off new appearance as he 'looks more like a boxer' after operation

Chicharito joked about undergoing a hair transplant, humorously blaming his baldness for past controversies and claiming the procedure has improved his life.

Javier Hernandez, the former Manchester United striker, has undergone a full hair transplant and shared a humorous video documenting the procedure and its aftermath. In the clip, recorded while his face was still swollen from surgery, Chicharito joked that his baldness was responsible for all his past misdeeds and controversies, from missing penalty kicks to various personal failings.

The Mexico international presented a comedic "study" listing supposed benefits of having hair, including improved penalty-taking ability, becoming a better person, learning Luis Miguel songs, landing jobs, and protecting against cancel culture. He also praised his partner Nicole McPherson for loving him during his bald years, calling it "real love."

Chicharito currently plays for USL Championship side Atletico Dallas, which he joined in July 2026 after leaving Guadalajara at the end of his contract.
