Lise Klaveness, president of the Norwegian Football Association, has ruled out standing as a candidate in the FIFA presidential election scheduled for March 2027. In comments on the power struggle for the top job, Klaveness emphasized the importance of fielding a suitable candidate against incumbent Gianni Infantino but made clear she will not be that person herself.
