Real Madrid returns to training with minute's silence for train crash victims

Real Madrid returned to training Wednesday ahead of Sunday's La Liga match at Racing Santander, observing a minute's silence for victims of a train crash in Toledo that killed over 60 people.

Real Madrid resumed training on Wednesday in preparation for their La Liga fixture against Racing Santander on Sunday at 16:15 (DAZN) at El Sardinero. The session began with a minute's silence to honour the victims of a train accident that occurred Wednesday in Urda, Toledo, which claimed at least 60 lives and left 80 injured. The club expressed solidarity with the families of those affected and support for the wounded recovering in hospitals.

On the sporting front, Real Madrid awaits clarity on the extent of Fede Valverde's injury sustained in Sunday's Clásico and whether he will be available for the Racing match. Asencio and Rodrygo continued their respective recoveries, while the remaining squad members completed the session normally.
