Ex-Ajax keeper Rulli can play as much as he wants: 'But I have no doubt about Donnarumma'

Rulli impressed in City's cup win over Brighton, but manager Maresca confirmed Donnarumma remains the undisputed first-choice keeper.

Former Ajax goalkeeper Gerónimo Rulli put in a strong performance for Manchester City in Wednesday's cup tie against Brighton & Hove Albion. Despite the Argentine's solid display, manager Enzo Maresca moved quickly to clarify the goalkeeper hierarchy at the club. "There is absolutely no doubt about it," Maresca said after City's victory. "Rulli is doing good work, but he knows his role here. Next Saturday it's Donnarumma and ten others," referring to City's upcoming Premier League fixture against Brighton.
