Danilo has signed a contract extension with Flamengo through December 2027, continuing his stint at the Brazilian club after joining from Juventus in January 2025.

Danilo has officially renewed his contract with Flamengo until 31 December 2027. The former Juventus captain, who left Italy in January 2025, has made 57 appearances, scoring 6 goals and providing 2 assists for the Brazilian club.

Danilo signed the new deal at Flamengo's training ground on 28 October, accompanied by his sons João and Miguel. In his statement, he expressed his commitment to the club: "Once Flamengo, forever Flamengo." He highlighted the success of his first season, which included winning the Copa Libertadores and the Campeonato Brasileiro, and said he looks forward to continuing to help the club achieve its objectives both on and off the pitch.
