Bournemouth star confirms transfer wish – Door opened for Tottenham and Arsenal

Bournemouth striker Kroupi has expressed desire to join a top club; Arsenal, Tottenham and Barcelona all monitoring the 20-year-old after his return from injury.

Eli Junior Kroupi has confirmed his ambition to play for one of the world's biggest clubs, opening the door for potential suitors including Arsenal, Tottenham and Barcelona. The Bournemouth striker told DAZN in France: "I'm going to give everything to play for the biggest clubs in the world, in the best leagues in the world."

Kroupi impressed in his debut Premier League season with 13 goals in 33 matches after joining from FC Lorient in February 2025. However, a foot injury in July ruled him out for three months and prevented a summer transfer. He has since returned to action, playing in Bournemouth's 3-0 win over Manchester United and featuring in an EFL Cup victory over Aston Villa.

Arsenal and Tottenham both showed interest in the France U21 international during the summer window, with Bournemouth valuing him at €100m. Barcelona also identified him as an alternative to Atlético Madrid's Julián Alvarez and continue to monitor him for a potential move next summer. Sporting director Deco and manager Hansi Flick have positive reports on the 20-year-old, though the Premier League clubs' interest threatens to drive up his price further.
