Tudor to Atalanta: the rumour from Bergamo, and where things stand with Sarri

Sarri's position at Atalanta under scrutiny after poor form; Tudor rumoured as potential replacement if results don't improve.

Atalanta face a crucial Serie A fixture at Fiorentina on matchday nine, with manager Maurizio Sarri's future increasingly in question. The Bergamo club have underperformed relative to expectations this season, and discontent among supporters is growing. Sarri's position has been weakened by injuries to key players including Scamacca and Bellanova.

The Florence match and a subsequent home game against Parma on 2 November are being viewed as decisive for Sarri's short-term future. According to reports circulating in Bergamo, Igor Tudor has been identified as a potential replacement should the situation deteriorate. However, the club is currently protecting Sarri, offering him support and defending their summer appointment despite the difficult circumstances.
